Today we will present to you my friends this sweet and creamy green smoothie packs a punch with a bowlful of antioxidant-rich cherries. Bananas are great mood boosters, thanks to their high levels of tryptophan, which is converted into serotonin (aka the happy chemical).

- 2 cups spinach
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup chopped pineapple *
- 1 cup cherries, pitted *
- 1 banana *
- Blend the spinach and almond milk until smooth.
- Add the pineapple, cherries, and banana and blend again.
Removing the pits from fresh cherries can be a bit tedious and messy. We opt for buying the fruit frozen so the pits are already removed. Do what works best for you when it comes to a recipe.
