There is a ton of green goodness found in avocado and spinach, which give you a nice boost of folate and vitamin E. The mango-and-banana combo is a great way to create a creamy, tropical kick.
- 2 cups spinach
- 2 cups of water
- 1 avocado, halved, pitted, and peeled
- 1 cup chopped mango *
- 1 banana *
- Blend the spinach and water until smooth.
- Add the avocado, mango, and banana and blend again.
Advice: Trying to get loved ones to join you on the green smoothie bandwagon? For the picky eaters, you may need to skip telling them that there are leafy greens in there and serve the smoothie in a concealed cup with a straw. Shhh, we won’t tell anybody. It can be our little secret
